I currently live in Florida with my husband, two dogs, and two cats . I am blessed with a career that allows me to work from home.
Born and raised in Florida, I love all activities that are on the water. During the hottest summer weekends, we spend our time boating, jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, and lounging on the beach. When the temperatures start to cool we hop on the motorcycles and cruise. I own a Kawasaki ZX14.
We make it a point to regularly volunteer and give back to our community. This could be cleaning up the waterways of trash or making blankets for the homeless. It is important to give back and do good in the world.
After a typical day of work though, you’ll find me heading to the gym and then trying out a new recipe in the kitchen.
Isosceles the Corgi
I managed the Instagram account of a three-legged Corgi named Isosceles. I began with a following of 200 in 2015 and grew to over 9,000 in 2017 with organic growth. I maintained an engagement rate of 13-18% each month. His account was featured on national corporate accounts such as Icon 1000, Pet Supermarket, and The Dodo. He was featured in a video created by The Dodo and the subject of several news articles worldwide. Unfortunately, Isosceles developed a common Corgi disease, DM. He passed away surrounded by a family that loved him deeply.
I developed a brand profile to facilitate a cohesive nationwide presence. I also created and implemented a marketing, public relations, and social media strategy. As a part of my plan, I generated daily content and ensured growth and industry awareness. Created marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, trade show booth designs, promotional emails, and logos. The company’s website was severely outdated so I created and maintained a new company website. To ensure success I collected and analyzed performance data for the plan effectiveness.
I created and implemented a plan for the motorcycle shipping division. This involved online advertising, events, media promotion, print, and social media. I was tasked with organizing a promotional event with Full Throttle Magazine for a trip to Sturgis, SD. This included media promotion, event organization, online promotion, and developing relationships within the motorcycle industry. I also created and developed a partnership with Hemmings Motorsports for their online car parts classifieds to provide shipping. For internal relations, I created and maintained an employee online portal to include incentives, newsletters, events, and employment resources. Maintained all company social media and email campaigns.
